Das Zeitkunstfestival 2025 - Alphabet der Liebe lockte etliche BesucherInnen ins Weinviertel und zur Premiere der Tanz-Sprach-Schlagwerk-Performance Fragmente*Liebe. *Gemeinsam im Programm mit Andrea Nagls neuem Solo becoming [stone] und zur Premiere am 16.10. gibt es auch das Solo Chimeric Clone von Verena Schneider zur Raum-Installation Ariadne-Fries von Christoff Wiesinger im kleineren Saal zu sehen.

Bert Gstettner lädt zu TANZ*HOTEL GAST*SPIELE ins Theater am Werk Petersplatz. Unter dem Motto Dance Poetry Performances wird eine Auswahl an AAR-Koproduktionen, Konzerten, Installation und Uraufführungen aus zeitgenössischem Tanz, Musik und Performance mit literarischem Bezug präsentiert, mit dabei auch die neuen Stücke aus dem aktuellen AAR Term 26. NEUE AAR TERM 27 AUSSCHREIBUNG Choreografie-Residenzen | Deadline: 15.9.2025 |
Bewerbungen für die nächste AAR TERM 27 Residenz können bis 15.9.2025 abgegeben werden.
KünstlerInnen mit neu auszuarbeitenden oder weiter zu entwickelnden Choreografie- u. Performance Projekten (Solo, Duo, Trio) können sich für eine begleitete Residenz samt abschließender Präsentation bewerben. Es stehen bis zu 3 Monate für Research und Ausarbeitung in den T*H Studios ab Dezember 2025 zur Verfügung. Die abschließende Werkschau ist geplant für ebendort 19.-21.3.2026.
Angenommen und ausgewählt werden künstlerische Formate die Zeitgenössischen Tanz, Choreografie oder Performance als Ausgangspunkt haben. Drei ausgewählte Projekte erhalten einen Produktionskostenanteil und dreimalige Abendgage, gemäß den Wiener Freie Szene Tarifen.
Begleitet werden die TeilnehmerInnen von MentorInnen unter der Künstlerischen Leitung von Choreograf & AAR-Initiator Bert Gstettner. Bewerbungen bitte an ihn, mit Projektbeschreibung samt Werkliste, Referenzen und Links: office@tanzhotel.at

Last weekend the space of the historical "Schüttkasten" at Schrattenthal Castle was turned into a Tanz*Hotel stage! The Zeitkunstfestival 2025 - Alphabet der Liebe attracted numerous visitors to the Weinviertel and to the premiere of the dance-language-percussion-performance Fragmente*Liebe. Natalie Campbell, Misael Romero, Stephan Wolf-Schönburg and drummer Jörg Mikula performed in Bert Gstettner's new choreography. Vienna premiere next October as part of the T*H Festival! NEW AAR TERM 27 PROPOSAL CALL for choreography-residencies | Deadline Sept 15th, 2025 |
Submit your applications for the next residence periode AAR TERM 27 until Sept 15th, 2025.
Apply for an extended studio-residency to create new choreography, performance work (solo, duo, trio) or to develope previous work. For your research and rehearsals, the T*H studios are available up to 3 months use from December 2025 on. The process is going to close with a final showcase at the T*H venue scheduled for March 19th to 21st, 2026.
Artistic formats with contemporary dance, choreography or performance art as their origin source will be accepted and are welcome to submit. Three selected projects will receive some budget for production costs and fee for three performances, based on Vienna's free dance scene standards.
The participants will be accompanied by mentors under the supervision of choreographer and T*H/AAR-director Bert Gstettner. Please send your application with a description of your project, references and links to him: office@tanzhotel.at
